I have a chalkboard wall in my kitchen and absolutely love it. It is such an inexpensive way to add visual interest to a wall. Chalkboard paint will only run you about $10 for a gallon. I suggest painting with magnetic primer first so your chalk wall can double as a magnetic board. There is chalkboard spray paint too for those of you wanting to paint an object or piece of furniture.
