Since returning from my trip to New England, I've been playing catch up on work stuff- hence my non-existent blogging. Suddenly It's July and life just seems to be passing me by. One of these days the word balance will be part of my vocabulary. Instead of feeling sad about my lack of me-time, or love-life I'm trying to feel grateful and embrace this time where work is at the forefront. "Trying" being the key word here.
Looking through these photos from my time in New England has me very excited I get to go back east in just two weeks time. This particular trip was my dear friend Kerry's bachelorette. She is from the Boston area and had a bunch of us bridesmaids come home with her to Lowell, MA. and then spend a few days at her aunt's beach house in York Beach, Maine. I had such a wonderful time ogling the gorgeous colonial and victorian homes, the lush greenery and all the roadside antique stores. I haven't spent much time in New England other than my summers in Martha's Vineyard and the two weeks I lived with a friend at Wesleyan University in Connecticut (long story), so it was very fun and different for me. There is something so romantic about New England in the summertime, with it's warm nights, mid-day lightning storms and the flickering fireflies - don't you think?
