MASCULIN + FÉMININ

A little fashion week street style inspiration for you. Do you have a favorite? I think I'd wear each and every one of these looks.
How have you been? I am back from my summer travels and have so many photos to share with you. Even though I've had such an incredible time exploring, working and meeting new friends in my travels, I am quite looking forward to staying put for a while, making meals at home and catching up on blogging; because when it comes down to it, there's no place like home.

Well, Paris fashion week certainly didn't disappoint where street style was concerned. Everyone looked so phenomenal, it was hard to narrow it down to six looks. I am 100% tied on the masculine and feminine looks this week. I adore each and every one. What about you, are you leaning one way or another?

Here are some of my favorite menswear inspired and ladylike looks this week. Are you clearly drawn to one style over another or do you go back and forth like me?
Happy friday the 13th. Any plans for the weekend? I'm looking forward to coffee and brunch dates with friends and starting to pack for our trip to Martha's Vineyard. I'm counting down the days, can you tell?

I am so happy it's Friday! The weekend couldn't come soon enough. Do you have any Halloween plans? I am having a scary movie night with a few of my girlfriends. I plan on drinking some spiced cider, lighting a fire in my fireplace and carving some pumpkins {yes I am a little late on this}.
Happy Weekend! xo

I would wear each and every one of these outfits. I can't choose which I like best, can you?
It's friday, hooray! I am so excited because my mom and my sister {who's in town from New York City} are coming up to LA to spend the day with me. Other then a photo shoot for Glitter Guide, the rest of the weekend is looking pretty low key. What about you, any fun plans?
Happy Weekend! xx

This week has been busy, but not in the work-crazed way it has been lately. It's been all about socializing and somehow it's only Thursday? Isn't it funny how you can have weeks of a ho hum social calendar and the all of a sudden, bam- every night something? I must say it has been nice though. The weather so far this summer has been {dare I say it} pretty perfect. They boyfriend and I have been enjoying dinners on the porch whenever possible and it's proven to be the prefect place for casual entertaining. Last night we had pizza night at home with some friends and tonight is sushi night with the girls. I do love to be social but I need at least a day or two a week to stay home and take it easy. What about you? Do you burn out fast or do you like to be out most nights?
As for the masculin and féminine looks- I've been going back and forth all week between styles. I'm having fun finding ways to make certain outfits feel more one way than another. I think I lean towards menswear inspired looks for everyday and like looking a tad girly when I dress up. Do you have a favorite?

It's friday, hooray! I can't tell you how thrilled I am the weekend is here. The boyfriend is headed up to the bay to see his family for the weekend and while he's gone I've got big house decorating/organizing plans. My office is slowly coming together, which is very exciting. I just need to tackle some long awaited projects and it seems like the perfect time. Do you have anything special planned for the weekend or are you wingin' it?
Happy Weekend! xx

My style goes back and forth from being very girly to a little tomboyish. I also love mixing the two by adding sparkly jewelry and bright lips to a menswear inspired look, or adding a pair of oxfords to a feminine dress. Which one are you? Or are you a little bit of both?
**no i didn't spell masculin and féminin wrong. it just so happens to be a french movie by jean-juc godard. and everything sounds better in french.
Any plans for carmageddon weekend? I wonder if it will be like y2k and turn out to be overly hyped. We're thinking of going wine tasting at Barnsdale Art Park this friday and we have a "carmageddon" themed party to attend on saturday. Such a funny idea. I can't wait!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xx
