I recently came across the newest Boy. by Band of Outsiders lookbook photographed by Scott Sternberg, with Michelle Williams as the lovely model. They always chose the most adorable actresses and shoot in iconic LA locations. This time it's one of my favorite spots, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

I love the pairing of a neutral striped dress with a bright kelly green wedge, or a fun pair of pink sunglasses. It makes the whole look feel slightly whimsical and springlike.

It was 80 degrees in LA yesterday and it's supposed to stay warm all week, which of course has me getting giddy about spring. Flowers blooming, pretty white frocks and perhaps even a trip to New York City are some of the sweet things I am looking forward to the most this Spring. HEAT WAVE

Loving these new looks from Madewell (If only my braid could look like that). We have been having a crazy heat wave in LA with temps in the 80's, which already has me thinking of springtime outfits and pastels. I know, I know, most of you are still dealing with 40 degrees and below. Any of these pieces above would effortlessly work for winter too, don't ya think?

Is it just me or does it feel like spring has sprung? The weather in LA, although windy, has been really quite lovely. Most years it feels like we completely skip spring all together and jump head first into summer. I have always been more of a spring/fall gal. I love in-between weather. SPRING PLEASE

Somehow it's March already, but it sure doesn't feel like spring is on it's way. It has been down right cold in LA the last few weeks. In some ways I am totally enjoying this cooler weather. It's given me a chance to pull out my winter coat I don't get many chances to wear and have cozy fires in my fireplace. On the other hand, I just really want to start wearing pretty dresses and going for picnics in Griffith Park. So spring, please get here soon...

Looking through the Rebecca Taylor  spring 2011 collection I found myself wanting every single piece. Sigh. I love the 70's feel, the breezy chiffon and most of all that tomato orange which makes my heart all a-flutter. I can see myself living in these dresses come spring, at least in my dreams. Can't it be spring yet?...

WANTED. SPRING NEUTRALS

It does not feel like Spring in Los Angeles. It has barely broken 70 degrees for weeks, months even. The average temperature should be about 77 degrees this time of year. Despite this unseasonable weather I am craving nude and white dresses. Maybe to will the weather to cheer up. I think white looks pretty great on everyone, but nude can be a tricky color on some.
